Yeah, that Greenville!

Hosting Omega Phi Alpha’s biennial Convention in my hometown of Greenville, SC goes beyond the typical convention host city experience. 

Listed on CNN’s “A Dozen of the Best Places to Go Worldwide” and U.S. News’ “Best places to Live”, the walkable surroundings, diverse culinary scene, and entertainment options make it an ideal location for our members to come together. 

Here are just a few reasons why I think hosting a convention here is a game-changer.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, the Hyatt Regency stands as a beacon of sophistication. With its state-of-the-art facilities and impeccable service, it provides the perfect backdrop for any gathering, and my personal fave is the waterfall in the lobby!

One of the distinct advantages of hosting a convention in Downtown Greenville is its walkability. Take the free hotel shuttle from the airport, and there’s no need for a car! OPhiA members can effortlessly stroll to a myriad of restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment options.

Greenville’s food scene is a gastronomic adventure waiting to be explored. From trendy cafes to upscale dining, the city offers a diverse range of culinary delights.
