On June 15, Omega Phi Alpha will celebrate 56 years since its founding. For our 2023 Founders’ Day, the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation has engaged 29 members from chapters across the nation to help raise funds through June 15 to further the Foundation’s mission and impact.
Celebrate Founders’ Day by honoring the vision and commitment of those who started Omega Phi Alpha through your contribution to the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation. Our group goal is to raise $8,000. Your donation will empower our members to create a meaningful impact in the world!

Why support the Foundation? The Omega Phi Alpha Foundation empowers the members of Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority to create meaningful impact in the world through leadership, education, and volunteer service while developing lifetime friends. The Foundation financially supports the operational and staffing needs of the Foundation & Sorority, leadership workshops and events for members, collegiate and national service projects, and the Pamela McCullough McEwen Memorial Scholarship.
A member of Alpha Upsilon Chapter, one of the Foundation’s recent grant recipients this semester, said, “Without funds from the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation, our chapter would not have been able to make as big of an impact on the organizations that we served.” A donation to the Foundation helps fund more opportunities for service impact.
About the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation
Established in 2019 as a 501(c)(3), the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation collects tax-deductible donations from members of the sorority and their families—and community members who want to support the Foundation’s mission. In the past few years, the Foundation has used funds to support the following activities:
- $1,700 spent for 2021 convention leadership programming support
- $1,800 funding provided for a chapter leadership workshop in 2022
- $4,000 awarded to individual members for scholarships in 2022 and 2023
- $4,850 in service and leadership grants provided to chapters in 2022 and 2023
