Recently, some important organizational changes were announced within Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority.

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Macey Normyle for her dedication and hard work training as Managing Director since Spring 2024. Due to family obligations, Macey has decided to resign from her role. We thank her for her willingness to serve and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

We are pleased to announce that Brittany Thornton has resigned as National President and has been appointed as Interim Managing Director of Omega Phi Alpha. Brittany brings a wealth of experience to this position, being an integral part of the National Team in various roles, and most recently having served as National President. Her understanding of our sisterhood and processes, coupled with her strong relationships with our chapters makes her uniquely suited to lead us during this transition. Brittany can now be contacted at managingdirector@omegaphialpha.org. Please join us in supporting Brittany as she takes on this role to support the daily life of our sisterhood!

Additionally, we are excited to share that Nanda Jayaseelan has been appointed as National President until the end of the term. Nanda’s leadership and experience will guide us as we navigate these changes. Nanda can now be contacted at pres@omegaphialpha.org.

Looking ahead, the Board of Directors will open applications for the Managing Director position in the Spring. We will also be considering candidates to fill the open VP Communications position on the Board. We encourage all members to keep an eye out for these opportunities to contribute to our organization.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Omega Phi Alpha as the National Team and Board of Directors work to serve our members in friendship, leadership, and service.
