East Lyme, Conn. (Sept. 23, 2021) – Omega Phi Alpha, a leading national community service sorority, is seeking qualified candidates to apply to fill the office of Vice President of Lifetime Membership, which sits on the organization’s Board of Directors. Candidates must be able to fulfill the remainder of the current term concluding in July 2023.
The Vice President of Lifetime Membership provides strategic oversight and planning of the sorority membership, from recruitment of new collegiate members and prospective chapters through alumni membership and engagement.
Candidates for the role of VP Lifetime Membership should have experience working with member organizations or other national organizations, and should be very familiar with member recruitment, alumni retention, and organizational expansion. They must also demonstrate experience developing recruitment and retention strategies and/or organizational growth.
Qualified candidates must be lifetime members in good standing with Omega Phi Alpha, and must also hold alumni status. Candidates must exhibit at least 5 years of professional, nonprofit, or OPhiA-specific experience in managing people, projects and programs. Experience serving on a non-profit board of directors is preferred.
