Alpha Pi Chapter raised awareness about sexual assuault on college campuses. As part of the project, members tabled in their student center for two days and gave students the opportunity to write supportive messages for survivors of sexual assault on luminaries that were then placed in front of the circle on campus. The purpose of the luminaries was to show students that they are not alone and that people support them. In addition to tabling and luminaries, the chapter held a Title IX (NINE) presentation with other on campus organizations. The awards voting committee felt that this project was extremely impactful to the university community at West Virginia University.
