Penny Guiles (Chi)

President

Penny has served on the Foundation Board of Directors since July 2022 and has taken on the roles of secretary and interim President. With her years of experience as a national volunteer, Penny has worked diligently with other Board members to create awareness about the Foundation and to ensure the Foundation is sustainable and supporting the Sorority’s mission for years to come.

Catharine Mini (Phi)

Vice President

With a wealth of experience as a marketing and development leader, both within and beyond the nonprofit sector, Catharine has cultivated her expertise in guiding organizations in demonstrating powerful communications rooted in community, leveraged effective strategies to secure funding for organizational growth, and executed successful fundraising campaigns.

Recognizing that true impact is only achieved through collaboration and community involvement, Catharine is enthusiastic about working closely with the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Catharine is dedicated to empowering our members by volunteering with the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation. Her goal is to ensure that all Omega Phi Alpha members have access to the necessary resources needed to drive meaningful change in the world through effective leadership, education, and volunteer service.

April Carroll (Mu)

Secretary

April has been an active member of the Sorority Operational Leadership Team for several years and has valuable insights into the operations of the Sorority at a national level. She has direct experience working with active members and is eager to serve as the Secretary on the Board. She looks forward to helping bridge the gap between the Foundation and active chapters.

Sara Voris (Chi)

Susie Larson (Mu)

Susie Larson is serving her second term as a Foundation Board Member. Her passion is the Pamela McCullough McEwen Scholarship Fund. She has a lifetime of community service and experience with non-profits. Susie is an alum of Mu Chapter at Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a BBA in Marketing and Business Administration. Susie is a former National President, Vice President of Business Operations and National Membership Director. She can be seen at Convention and other sorority events as “Bubbles” The Bee, promoting friendship to all attendees!

Marlene Purdy (Alpha)

Marlene is a true example of a lifetime commitment to service. As a Diamond Alumni who has served in various national volunteer positions with the Sorority, Marlene also serves on a local Foundation and is now sharing her knowledge of Foundation operations and regulations to the Foundation Board.
