The Sorority Board of Directors is excited to share with you the newest members of the Omega Phi Alpha Foundation Board of Directors. These new and reappointed members will join Sara Voris (Chi) as she continues her current term as Treasurer of the Foundation Board of Directors.

We are looking forward to supporting these Board members as they continue supporting the Sorority’s mission and members!

Penny Guiles (Chi)

Penny has served on the Foundation Board of Directors since July 2022 and has taken on the roles of secretary and interim President. With her years of experience as a national volunteer, Penny has worked diligently with other Board members to create awareness about the Foundation and to ensure the Foundation is sustainable and supporting the Sorority’s mission for years to come.

Susie Larson (Mu)

Susie has served on the Foundation Board of Directors since July 2022. Susie’s passion for the Foundation’s inception and mission is evident in everything she does. She brings creative ideas that motivate members to be involved and is currently exploring how the Foundation can engage and support our members at Convention 2024.

Catharine Mini (Phi)

Catharine Mini is an experienced nonprofit marketing professional who has been helping the Foundation with development and fundraising tasks. We are so excited she’s now bringing her communications, fundraising, and donor engagement skills as a Foundation Board member.

April Carroll (Mu)

April has been a very active member of the OLT in the past few years and brings rich insight and awareness of Sorority operations at a national level. She has also worked as a Chapter Health Specialist giving her a unique perspective into the lives of our active members.

Marlene Purdy (Alpha)

Marlene is a true example of a lifetime commitment to service. As a Diamond Alumni who has served in various national volunteer positions with the Sorority, Marlene also serves on a local Foundation and is now sharing her knowledge of Foundation operations and regulations to the Foundation Board.

Patti Light (Chi, Alpha Gamma)

In addition to Patti’s experience as a national volunteer with the Sorority, she brings years of higher education experience to the Foundation Board. Patti’s dedication to the Sorority’s mission is apparent in her many ideas for creating and sustaining member engagement within the Foundation.
