Come anytime between 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Tanglewood Club House
5850 Doliver Drive, Houston, TX

With “Chapter Choice” being this year’s President’s Project (each chapter chooses their own project), our alumnae chapter is focusing on children. Angel Gowns is a foundation that provides burial gowns for families who have suffered the loss of a child before, during or shortly after birth, at no cost. Omega Tau Alumnae Chapter is offering to help organize and cut donated gowns to reduce storage space.

angel gownsWe will organize, deconstruct and cut donated wedding and formal gowns into squares or patterns to be sewn into Angel Gowns. Instructions, patterns, extra scissors and supplies will be provided. If you want to sew Angel Gowns, please bring your sewing machines with supplies.

Feel free to invite others who might enjoy spending a few hours helping out—the more hands the better!

Snacks and beverages will be provided.

If you can’t make it, please consider a donation to Angel Gowns, noting Omega Tau Chapter of Omega Phi Alpha.
