Stephanie Hallman National Vice President Business Operations 2006 - 2009 Stephanie is 24 years old and was born and raised in Nashville. She moved to Cookeville, TN in 2000 to attend Tennessee Tech as a chemical engineering major. She soon realized that she needed something in college to keep her involved and to give her a break from massive amounts of schoolwork. She joined ΩΦA in spring 2001 and loved it. She was treasurer in 2001-02 and service director the following year. “I would not trade my years in ΩΦA for anything,” she said. Stephanie graduated from Tech in Spring 2005 with a B.S. in chemical engineering but decided it wasn’t what she really wanted to do, so she returned to school to obtain a master’s as a curriculum and instruction major to get certified to teach chemistry. “I am so excited and so much happier than I was as an engineer,” she said. Stephanie loves music and movies. As far as music goes, she mostly likes rock and alternative. With movies, it’s all comedies, especially Will Ferrell’s. She is a huge Jack Johnson fan as well. She has seen Talladega Night 3 times. She has two wonderful puppies, Ernie and Harley, that she loves to death, even though they haven’t quite mastered the arts of pooping outside yet.

of Business Operations and hope that I live up to everyone’s
